While Celeste is a licensed architect, her projects are enhanced by her natural interior design abilities. She has received a national lighting design award for her work on a private residence. Her own home has been featured on the television show Before and After as well as in The Oregonian.

"Foreign Exchange" highlights changes made to a 1940's West Hills Colonial into a home that lives the way a modern family would expect. The client goals for the remodel included; increasing functionality of the main floor living spaces, providing better connectivity between spaces and strengthening the relationships between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The extensive remodel does these things and more.....

Formerly built by the owner of the View-Master toy factory (later Mattel), this house is a gem of mid-century architecture. When I first toured the home, I was drawn to its low-slung pitch, many large expanses of glazing (over 6'x6') and the view to the east with five enormous windows, faceted, like a View-Master card. From those windows and the entire east side of the home, one has a clear view of Mt. Hood, Mt. St. Helens, the Willamette River, and the Portland downtown skyline. (Read More)

These stairs, from a recently completed residential remodel, were featured in the "Smart Spaces" column of Sunset Magazine's February 2002 issue. Sunset noted that the new stairs were a "novel and artful way to combine practical storage, display space, and a sculptural stair railing." (View)
