While Celeste is a licensed architect, her projects are enhanced by her natural interior design abilities. She has received a national lighting design award for her work on a private residence. Her own home has been featured on the television show Before and After as well as in The Oregonian.

These stairs, from a recently completed residential remodel, were featured in the "Smart Spaces" column of Sunset Magazine's February 2002 issue. Sunset noted that the new stairs were a "novel and artful way to combine practical storage, display space, and a sculptural stair railing."
