Our greatest satisfaction comes from working with a client, solving problems together and creating a unique and lasting solution. A Portland neighborhood activist, Celeste Lewis understands the importance of working toward a consensus within a diversity of opinion.

"Architecture is a synergistic proposal between the architect, the client and the site."

Celeste Lewis moved to Portland, Oregon, after receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Washington State University.

In 1997, the city and Mayor Katz recognized her community work by presenting her with the Spirit of Portland Award.

While Celeste is a licensed architect, her projects are enhanced by her natural interior design abilities. She has received a national lighting design award for her work on a private residence. Her own home has been featured on the television show Before and After as well as in The Oregonian.

"Pragmatic, never dogmatic."

Before opening her own business in 2000, she worked for several architecture firms in Portland, including ten years as an associate at John Hasenberg Architects.

We specialize in:

  • Residential remodels
  • New residential construction
  • Lighting design
  • Architectural finish selection

"Remodeling is the ultimate recycling."

From the first sketch to the last driven nail, we work to effectively blend your ideas with the house’s inherent character to create a remodeling solution that’s a perfect match for both.
